MPLS/Ethernet World Congress, Paris, France, March 18, 2013 – AimValley announces successful interworking tests of its EX14 Network Interface Device at the European Advanced Network Test Center’s (EANTC) 2013 Multi-Vendor Interoperability Test in Berlin during a three-week hot-staging event in Berlin last month. The EX14 will be showcased at the MPLS/Ethernet World Congress in Paris.
“AimValley’s successful participation in this year’s EANTC Interoperability Tests demonstrates our support of the latest standards in packet based networks and the maturity of our NID” said Theo Muys, managing director of AimValley. Interworking with different vendors has been demonstrated. Details can be found in the EANTC white paper that can be downloaded from http://www.eantc.com/mplsewc2013
The EX14 Transport NID supports CFM OAM IEEE 802.1ag Connectivity Fault Management (CFM) and ITU-T Y.1731 Frame Loss (LM) and Frame Delay (DM) measurement to monitor and optimize Service Level Agreements (SLA). Using the SNMP based AimNMS management solution, or Titan API for tight integration with customers management systems, network operators can provision and monitor all relevant parameters for optimal Quality of Experience. Because of its small size and low power consumption, the EX14 is ideally suited for Mobile Backhaul and Business Ethernet Access applications in locations with space and dissipation restrictions.
AimValley will participate in the EANTC Product Interoperability Showcase at the MPLS/Ethernet World Congress in Paris from March 19-22, 2013. This showcase features live demonstrations and highlights the compatibility of Carrier Ethernet networks and devices of participating vendors. You can also visit us at booth 302 for a live demonstration. For more information see www.aimvalley.com or contact us at email@example.com.
