Frankfurt, Germany, April 16, 2013 – Creanord and AimValley announce the integration of the EX14 Network Interface Device in the Creanord EchoVault management system. EchoVault lets carriers bridge the SLA Gap™ by providing a carrier-grade Service and SLA delivery platform that accelerates the managed Ethernet access turn-up and automates SLA reporting.

The EX14 Transport NID supports Connectivity Fault Management (IEEE 802.1ag CFM), Frame Loss Measurement (ITU-T Y.1731 LM) and Frame Delay Measurement (ITU-T Y.1731 DM) to monitor and optimize Service Level Agreements (SLA). Using EchoVault, network operators can provision and monitor all relevant parameters for optimal Quality of Experience. Because of its small size and low power consumption, the EX14 is ideally suited for Mobile Backhaul and Business Ethernet Access applications in locations with space and dissipation restrictions.
