For many years the number and complexity of medical devices in operating rooms, isolation units and other hospital departments have been increasing. Especially in the acute-care, there is a need for sharing information by enhanced communication, higher flexibility as well as access to critical parameters on demand.

AimValley is dedicated to improving the interoperability of devices in any healthcare setting. Part of improving interoperability is the new Service-oriented Device Connectivity standard (#IEEE 11073 SDC).

To further develop our partnerships within the HealthTech sector we have joined OR.NET e.V. OR.NET have been a driving force behind the introduction of SDC.

OR.NET is a registered association that combines industrial specialists, clinical staff, and researchers to facilitate safe and dynamic device-to-device communication using state-of-the-art information and communication technology.
