Neways and AimBridges have announced a frame agreement for the manufacturing of Metro Optical Networking products. Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, Neways will manufacture and distribute various products, developed by AimBridges. Products are being shipped to customers around the world and the first product has already reached the milestone of 100 products shipped.
Neways Leeuwarden B.V. (part of Neways Electronics International N.V.) is a manufacturer of electronic assemblies and products based on the criteria specified by the customer. Neways Leeuwarden plays the role of a one-stop provider and has also strategic collaborative agreements with a number of specialized companies, including companies engaged in the development of electronics and in the manufacture of housings for electronic equipment.
AimBridges is part of the AimValley holding, that further includes AimSys and AimCom, founded two years ago when the larger telecoms companies were cutting back. AimBridges is the product house of the AimValley group of companies, focusing on the development and marketing of next-generation OEM Optical Networking solutions for delivery of affordable, reliable and secure SDH and Ethernet services.
